Umeboshi (Japanese pickled plums)
I do not remember how I came up with this idea but I started putting a little bit of umeboshi on top of each sesame seed cookie. Wow, it was really good! You will be pleasantly surprised by this interesting combination of salty umeboshi and flavorful sesame seed cookies!

Macha Chocolate Dipped Cookies
I have been thinking about making matcha chocolate dipped cookies and finally I made them today! Now I have two kidns of chocolate dipped matcha cookies (milk chocolate and matcha chocolate)! These cookies will be available soon!

Jyubako (stacked boxes)
A jyubako is made up of nested boxes (2 - 3 stories) and traditionally used as serving boxes for New Year’s feasts at home. There are diffent desings, colors and sizes. I put cookies in my jyubako (very small!) wrapped in a furoshiki and brought them to a potluck party!

Seed Fair
Thank you very much for coming to Seed Fair and stopped by my booth! I I think there were more people this year than last year! Some of my baked goods were sold out earlier and I am sorry if you could not get them. Most of our products are available locally for delivery or pick-up. Please email or call us for more information. Thank you again and have a good weekend!

Japanese Kabocha Squash Rolls
I made Kabocha rolls (Japanese bread roll filled with kabocha paste). If you like my kabocha squash balls, I think you will like this bread too! I will bring some to Seed Fair tomorrow!

Purple sweet potato
Purple sweet potato paste is one of my favorite fillings for my Japanese sweets. It's pretty, tastey and nutritious! Personally I like the purple color too. Strain cooked potatoes through a fine mesh strainer is the key to make smooth potato paste!
